What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable Warehouse Coordinator to lead operations in the back of the house. From forklift operation and product assembly to small-engine repair and custom screen and glass cutting, you’ll be the go-to problem solver behind the scenes.

• Oversee the daily functions of the warehouse, including receiving, inventory management, and equipment upkeep.

• Operate a forklift to unload deliveries and move products safely.

• Assemble grills, wheelbarrows, patio furniture, and other products for the sales floor and customers.

• Cut glass and window screens to customer specifications and repair screens as needed.

• Complete STIHL training to become certified in basic small-engine diagnostics and repair.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse that aligns with company standards.

• Support the retail team with special orders, bulk loading, and backstock.

• Follow all safety procedures and uphold the Core Values of Wood’s Ace Hardware.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience in warehouse, mechanical, or assembly work preferred.

• Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Basic mechanical skills and comfort using power tools.

• Willingness to complete STIHL training, including travel.

• Self-starter with strong time-management skills and accountability.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Must be dependable, positive, and a team player.

Candidates must be able to commute to Summerville or relocate before beginning employment.
