
FLOOR ASSOCIATE
Full-Time / Part-Time | $12–$16/hour

As a Floor Associate, you’re responsible for providing a warm welcome, understanding customer needs, and helping them find the right products—every time.
You’ll help keep your department clean, stocked, and inviting while embodying our Core Values: Own Your Aisle, Be Ridiculously Helpful, Crew Over Self, Grow or Go, Do Hard Things Well, and Pour Into People.
What You’ll Do

Unload incoming shipments and restock shelves according to store standards.

Keep your assigned department clean, organized, and full at all times.

Execute daily priorities with urgency and attention to detail—Speed is Life.

Actively participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and store-improvement conversations.

Restock merchandise displays, maintain endcaps, and reset promotional signage after sales.

Process and track special orders for non-stock items—it always takes two to say no.

Prevent theft by staying attentive and offering excellent customer service.

Greet and assist all customers using the Five-Foot Rule—make eye contact, smile, and offer help.

Stay visible in the main aisles and proactively engage customers in your department and beyond.

Demonstrate the S.A.L.E.S. process: Smile, Ask, Listen, Explain, Solve.

Handle basic customer complaints with care and escalate more serious issues to a manager.

Promote the Ace Rewards program and explain the Ace Helpful Promise(s).

Maintain full awareness of promotions and ads to inform customers about current sales.

Always wear your radio and headset and respond to team and Customer Coordinator requests.

Offer assistance with heavy or large items and hand out red baskets as needed.

Support the training and onboarding of new team members.

Previous retail or department-specific experience is a plus.

Regular and punctual attendance is required.

Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, reach, and bend for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and safely move merchandise and fixtures.
